Cross-linking is what allows HA to be chemically engineered in such a way that the thickness of the gel can determine its ability to hold its shape. • Restylane Refyne  (6% cross-linked) – adapts well to softer, more superficial layers. It effectively smooths fine lines.

The Procedure

During a procedure, the Restylane product is injected into the mid-deep dermis, or skin, using an ultra-fine needle. The treatment areas may be massaged to optimize the contouring of the gel. The gel will integrate into your dermal tissue, attracting and binding to water molecules during the process. This will create volume and fullness to smooth out wrinkles and improve facial contours. 

Depending on the treatment area, the results of Restylane injections will last anywhere between 6-12 months. Touch-up treatments are recommended to maintain results. 

Recovery and Aftercare

Restylane dermal filler injections require little to no downtime. Most patients return to their daily activities immediately following their procedure.
